Novice Kriti Kharbanda, who is making her Bollywood debut with thriller "Raaz Reboot," says kissing on-screen was an extreme assignment for her.
Kriti has worked widely in down South, however had hindrances while shooting the personal scenes.
"My first kiss was with Emraan Hashmi and I was to a great degree terrified. I was stating to myself 'I don't know how am I going to do this.' It cracked me out and how.
"I was exceptionally uncomfortable about it since I was doing it with a more interesting which turned out to be extremely troublesome for me," Kriti told PTI in a meeting.
Coordinated by Vikram, Bhatt, "Raaz Reboot" is the fourth film in the blood and guts movie establishment "Raaz". The 27-year-old performing artist made her acting introduction with the Telugu film "Boni" in 2009 preceding sacking her leap forward part with lighthearted comedy "Googly".
Kriti says when "Raaz Reboot" was offered to her, she was somewhat uneasy as the character in the film was rather than the parts she had done previously.
"At first I had a great deal of hindrances. I have been exceptionally dynamic in South, particularly in the previous three years, and the picture I have there is of a sweet-young lady nearby. In any case, "Raaz" was in an alternate space.
"In the film, I have an ex-significant other, I likewise have a spouse, I get had, I need to kiss on-screen. It had ticked each crate of how I am going to spook the living light of my gathering of people," she said.
The performing artist, in any case, was not made a fuss over the "serial kisser" picture of her co-star, Emraan, and in truth credits the "Azhar" on-screen character for beginning the pattern of kissing scenes in Bollywood.
"His (Emraan's) picture didn't have any kind of effect to me. I feel he began the pattern of kissing scenes. Today there is not one Hindi motion picture which doesn't have a kissing scene.
"He ran with it before the time and now when each Hindi film you see, it has one such scene since it is uncalled for to not have a kiss."
In spite of the fact that she has been in the film business for just about seven years with almost 15 motion pictures surprisingly, Kriti says "Raaz Reboot" made her more grounded and bold as a man.
"I have changed so much post "Raaz" as a man. I have gotten to be boundless and more grounded. You needn't bother with that state of mind to make due in Bollywood. In any case, when you are doing a film like 'Raaz', you can't go on set with restraints."
"Like, I had never kissed on screen as it is not something I thought I would enjoy. In any case, after I have done it, I have concluded that I am never going to stamp limits for the reason that I would prefer not to cutoff myself."
