A year ago, on September 9, the Delhi's Saket court had started the trial against Mahmood Farooqui, the co-executive of Aamir Khan Production's Peepli (Live) . The purpose behind Mahmood Farooqui's trial was that he had supposedly assaulted a 35 year old American lady in the year 2015. Mahmood Farooqui, who happens to be an advocate of the old craft of Urdu narrating called 'Dastangoi', had been blamed for assaulting the 35 year old American examination researcher from Columbia University.
