I shot this photo of Deepti Naval at her Versova home. The on-screen character was unique - simply like her home. In her strikingly one of a kind home, everything was surprising - from the inside table which was set on a heap of books to her washroom (blinds just, no entryways!).
I met Deepti and her then spouse Prakash Jha surprisingly at a press screening of Damul, a film about fortified work which Prakash had coordinated.
