by

Tiger Shroff-starrer A Flying Jatt might be about a superhero but it failed to fly at the box office. The movie which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez was released on Thursday. It has so far collected around Rs 20.45 crore. It managed to earn Rs 6 crore on Friday. But showed improvement on Saturday as it collected Rs 7.35 crore. On Sunday, the collections were Rs 9 crore, bringing the total to Rs 29.45 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#AFlyingJatt has underperformed, considering it was an extended 4-day weekend. Biz saw growth on Sat and Sun, but the big jump was missing. #AFlyingJatt Thu 7.10 cr, Fri 6 cr, Sat 7.35 cr, Sun 9 cr. Total: ₹ 29.45 cr. India biz. Note: #Baaghi collected ₹ 38.58 cr in 3 days.”
A Flying Jatt opened on the occasion of Janmashtami with a profit of Rs 7.10 crore. But so far the film has done low business. Made at an approximate budget of Rs 50 crore, the film seems like a failure at the box office. On Friday (August 26), the Tiger Shroff film made a collection of Rs 6 crore, which is even lower that its opening day profits.

The CBFC has gotten a considerable rundown of protests from Sikh and Jatt associations to the way Tiger Shroff has been introduced in A Flying Jatt, the super-legend film that sees Tiger flying in a turban.

As per sources from the Central Board Of Film Certification, there have been no less than 35-40 protests from different religious and social associations to the way Tiger, playing a Jatt super-legend was introduced in the film.

Says a source from the CBFC, "As far back as the primary trailer turned out there have been protests from the Jatt and Sikh people group about the garments, embellishments and behavior. We've to take the greater part of the grievances into thought while guaranteeing the film."
