Vinay Pathak and Tannishtha Chatterjee featured in the widely praised film Island City which had its reality debut at the 72nd Venice Film Festival 2015. Not only that, it was chosen at 26 universal film celebrations and won top honors at five celebrations. It won the FEDEORA (Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean) Award for Best Debut Director.
After much holding up, Island City at last has a discharge date in India and it will hit the theaters on September 2. Discussing the procedure, chief Ruchika Oberoi said that the film has had an adventure worldwide yet they couldn't be more energized for the film's discharge in India. Teaming up with Drishyam Films, the creators of the film plan to connect with groups of onlookers with considerable dramatic nearness.
